My Story

Hello everyone! My name is James Edwards, and I am the founder of James Gourmet.

To tell you a little about myself, as an Air Force veteran I was privileged to travel all over the country and world – but I was born in Wilmington, DE. As a child I loved to bake and while other kids were out playing, I was in the kitchen with my grandmother learning all her secrets to baking and how to prepare great foods.

I sold my first sweet potato pie while serving in the Air Force and it’s been an incredible journey ever since. This year I was humbled when Marcus Lemonis, the host of CNBC’s, “The Profit,” decided to work with James Gourmet. With his guidance, we now sell our gourmet pies and products all over the country.

At the end of the day, I give thanks for the blessings I have – for my family, my amazing kids, friends, and customers who have supported me, and God – for giving me hope and filing my heart with love.
